Starting a Business

Look established
from day one.

// Professional email · Local phone number · IT foundation built to grow

Still using your personal Gmail or cell number for business? That's quietly costing you credibility with every client interaction. We set up the IT foundation that makes you look — and operate — like the real business you are.

Personal Gmail is
costing you clients.

When a potential client gets an email from a Gmail address, it signals one thing: this business isn't quite established yet. Whether or not that's true, perception is reality — and in professional services, your email is your first impression.

Beyond the credibility hit, mixing personal and business communication creates real problems: data you can't control, no ability to set up auto-replies or vacation rules properly, and no separation when something goes wrong.

It's not just email either. A personal cell number with no voicemail, no hold music, and no way to separate business calls from personal ones signals the same thing. And when you're trying to close a contract with a law firm or a general contractor, these details matter.

Personal number for business
No separation, no voicemail, no hold queue, no business identity
No control over your data
If you leave Google or something breaks, you have no admin access
No room to grow
Migrating later is painful — set it up right from the start

Three things every new
Charlotte business needs.

01

Professional Business Email

Your email at your domain — you@yourbusiness.com. We set up Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, configure email security, and make sure it delivers properly. No spam issues, no setup headaches.

02

Local Charlotte Phone Number

A real 704 or 980 number for your business that rings your cell, keeps your personal number private, and gives you the ability to set up voicemail, call routing, and business hours. Clients call a business, not a person.

03

IT Foundation to Grow

We document your setup, configure it to scale, and give you admin access you actually understand. When you hit 5+ employees and need managed IT, you're already on a foundation that supports it — no costly migration needed.

Simple, transparent
startup pricing.

Small Business Starter Track

Built for contractors, tradespeople, and new businesses with 1–3 employees. We set up your professional business email, local Charlotte phone number, and the IT foundation to grow into managed services as your team scales.

No long-term contract required at this tier. You pay for setup once, then a flat monthly rate as long as you need us. When you're ready for a full managed IT plan, we upgrade you seamlessly.

Questions about
getting started.

Do I need Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?

For most new businesses, Google Workspace is the right choice — it's intuitive, easier to manage for a small team, and the collaboration tools are excellent. Microsoft 365 is the better fit if you're in a regulated industry (law, finance) or if your clients are heavy Microsoft shops. We'll advise you on the right call during the consult.

How much does business email setup cost in Charlotte?

Our one-time setup fee is $300–500 depending on complexity. This includes domain configuration, workspace setup, email security basics, spam filtering, and a walkthrough so you understand your own system. Ongoing management runs $25–40/user/month.

Can I get a local Charlotte phone number for my business?

Yes. We provision a local 704 or 980 number through a cloud phone system. It rings your existing cell, keeps your personal number completely private, and gives you professional voicemail and call handling. Cost is $20–35/user/month.

Do I need a contract?

No long-term contract at the Starter Track level. You pay the one-time setup fee, then a flat monthly rate for management and phone. You can cancel the monthly services with 30 days notice. When you upgrade to managed IT, that's when the 12-month agreement comes into play.

What happens when my business grows past 3 employees?

When you're ready for full managed IT — typically around 5+ employees — we transition you to one of our managed plans seamlessly. Because you're already on our platform and we have your environment documented, there's no painful migration. We upgrade your plan and add the services you need.
